Yoga Doesn't Belong to any particular religion ....
The above statement is true to the best of my knowledge ,as Yoga enthusiasts throughout the world prepare for the International Day of Yoga on June 21, it has a universal appeal which is above every sect, clan, religion and area .
Let us now have a look at what exactly this Yoga is ? Every one can drive the most from it if practiced properly . Yoga is just not a physical exercise however an activity which sums up a person's personality with his or her spirit .
Yoga means union or summation of soul and Supreme soul ,spirit and matter, thought and action ,man and nature . A real practitioner of Yoga develops harmonious relationship with self , others and the enviornment that form the foundation of the healthy life , society and the world .
Yogic scriptures speak about Yoga raising a person to that level of consciousness that he or she merges this consciousness with the universal consciousness . One who experiences this oneness is said to have attained freedom from the bondage created by limited awareness .
Giving a particular day to celebrate Yoga means helping it achieve the International acceptance to the people so that they can enrich their lifes in a better way and live in peace and harmony with others.
So let us all start parctising Yoga from now on wards and make this world a better place to live in peace and harmony with others .
