J.B.I.T. Ranked no 1 engineering college by The Week magazine for June 2016.
It is an honour for the faculty , staff and students of J.B. Institute of Technology that the institute was ranked number one engineering college of the state by The week magazine for June 2016.
This is an indication that the whole J.B.I.T family works for the up liftment and progress
of the students and thereby nation as a whole . The utmost care is taken to provide education
meeting the university and employ ability standards. More focus is on practical and grassroots
level nitty gritty of engineering , this is done to make students capable to understand any
situation and cope up with that with a practical and refined approach.
Infrastructure out here in JBIT is in accordance to the international standards , this simply means
there are state of the art labs , classrooms and common rooms for boys and girls . Above all
library of the college contains huge collection of books on varied subjects . We call it " the book bank " .Moreover this library is connected to the "e-resources " of the premier institutes like I.I.T.s other research institutes by a process called "DEL-NET". This is to give students and teachers
the best of the best exposure of the academics . There are many e-books available for students
to get benefited from.
One major feature of JBIT is to prepare students for the placements , that is to make them
industry ready . To accomplish this herculean task , a team of expert PDP trainers help students
come out of their shells and get themselves ready to face the world after completing B.Tech. Students of other colleges also come for the pool campus placements in JBIT. Training and Placement cell makes sure that every student of JBIT gets placed in a good organisation.
Very homely environment is provided to the students who opt to stay in the college hostel ,
the meal served is hygienic , highly nutritious and it meets the international standards. Rooms
are spacious and well ventilated .
JBIT provides 24 hours electric and water supply to the students and faculty members residing
on board the campus . On top of all this the institute provides 24 hours internet connectivity as
well with the help of , WI-FI .
These world class facilities and maintenance of standard has made JBIT achieve the Rank of no 1 engineering college of Uattrakhand ----by the Week magazine .
