SRIJAN 2016
J.B. Institute of Technology organised its annual cultural and tech fest on 13th and 14th of May 2016.
Day 1 : The first day witnessed a lot of participants actively enjoying kite flying competition and couple of other cultural activities and a very interesting game "Treasure Hunt".
Day 2: Second day started with the display of unique, major projects made by different groups of final year students of B.Tech and Diploma courses. Many renowned scholars of IIT and universities of repute in their respective fields examined and gave ranking to the different projects .
After lunch many bands performed live on the stage , followed by different cultural activities . There was a finely directed play performed by the students , depicting the lifes of youngsters studying in colleges . A "Nukkad Natak", "Paani Ka Rang " was also done showcasing the major social issues of our society.
The star performance started around 8 p.m. It was a live celebrity performance . This added fire to the spirit of the audience when everyone saw Jassi Gill and Babbal Rai performing live in front of their eyes .
Many people of repute were invited by the honorable chairman sir Sri L.D. Singhal ji . The chief guest of the event was A.D.G. (Info) Sri Ashok Kumar ji (I.P.S.) U.K. Police.
All in all the event was a great success and got applauses from everyone .
