A big question in minds of most of the management STUDENTS and GURUS, is it an art or a kind of science ?
What do most of the people think about this concept ? People have a perception that it is something that we can learn in the business schools . Well business schools teach only those concepts and ideas which were practically implemented by one or the other top leaders of the world in their respective areas of business. If we talk about people like Bill Gates or Steve Jobs and many like them , they are or were not the graduates of any business schools . These are or were the people who Coined new management concepts and theories according to the situations which they faced .
Therefore it won't be wrong to say that management is more of an ART instead of SCIENCE, as one has to take or make decisions according to the situation, that is there in front, at that particular instance. People also study the same in Big B Schools of the world . Management is all about doing and learning practically , it can never be theoretically done properly, as theory is an experience and practical work of some other person in some other conditions or circumstances , which, may be you can never face . All in all we can say that Good Management is a kind of PERFECT REACTION TO A PARTICULAR SITUATION to successfully sort it out.
